Bourbon Cobbler is a layered bourbon, fruit and sugar cocktail. It is said to be the invention of a bartender in Louisville, Kentucky in 1860s.
The ingredients of the Bourbon Cobbler are bourbon whiskey, water, sugar and lemon juice. The recipe has been adapted over time with some variations that include adding orange juice or pineapple juice to the mix. Some bartenders also use apple cider vinegar instead of lemon juice to give it a sour taste.
