The Canary Margarita Shot cocktail is a new take on an old favorite. The drink is made with tequila, lime juice, and triplicate syrup. The idea for this drink came from a woman in Dallas who was looking for a new take on margaritas after her divorce in 2017. She decided to add some orange liqueur to the mix and the result was a drink that she called a "Canary." After spending some time testing out different quantities of tequila, lime juice, and triple sec, she named it the "Canary Margarita."
Similar to the classic margarita, the Canary Margarita Shot is tart and has a strong lemon flavor. It is very refreshing making it great for sipping in the hot summer months!
