Lychee Martini cocktail is a popular drink and it has a long history. It was called “Widow’s Kiss” in the older days and was an unappealing drink that people only had when they were coping with grief. In 1948, Harry Craddock added some lychees to the drink and gave the drink its current name. The story behind it is one of how human’s love for flavors influenced its recipe over time.
This cocktail is made with vodka, lychee juice and vermouth. It is served in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake until chilled. Pour it into 2 martini glasses and garnish with lychees.

Ingredients
1½ ounces vodka
1½ ounces lychee liqueur
½ ounce coconut water
Ice
Peeled lychee for garnish
Recipe
1. Chill a martini glass.
2. In a mixing glass, combine the lychee liqueur, vodka, coconut water, and ice. 3. Stir to chill.
4. Strain into the chilled martini glass.
5. Drop in a peeled lychee as garnish.
