The Mexican Coke Shot is a cocktail that was created in the late 1950s or early 1960s in the town of Sinaloa de Leyva, Mexico. It was originally called "Coca Cola" shot. The history of this cocktail can be traced back to when Coca-Cola first arrived in Mexico with the trade agreement of 1940, which led to the creation of a new drink that combined Mexican ingredients with Coca-Cola’s original recipe.
It is an awesome drink that I absolutely love. The combination of lime, tequila and coke is amazing. It's like taking a shot of pure happiness!
