Blackberry Mint Lemonade was invented by an Australian bartender, John Paul Young, in 2002. The drink is traditionally made with vodka, lemonade, blackberries and mint. He named it the Blackberry Mint Lemonade after his girlfriend's suggestion for a good name for a cocktail. Young said that he came up with the idea of combining blackberries and mint because they are "pretty much Australia’s national fruit."
It is a perfect summer drink. The blackberries, mint leaves and lemon juice are mixed together to form an amazing refreshing drink. It's so easy to make that even kids can have it.
