Cuba Libre is a rum-based cocktail made with Coca-Cola. The drink was invented in Havana, Cuba, during the Spanish–American War (1898), to relieve American soldiers of dysentery brought on by poor sanitation conditions.
Some variations of Cuba Libre cocktail are Highball, 7 and 7, Captain and Coke, Hennessy and Coke etc.
