The Fallen Angel cocktail, also known as the Devil’s Cocktail, is a gin-based drink that was created in the 1940s. It’s rumored to have been invented by a bartender at a restaurant called “Le Club” in New York City. It is said that he created it for “a devilish clientele".
It consists of gin, rum, apricot brandy, and pineapple juice. It has a delicious fruity taste with a hint of spiced rum coming through on the finish. Many people prefer to drink it straight up or on the rocks with ice. This cocktail is usually served in an old fashioned glass with sprig of mint and pineapple spear garnish on top.
