Paloma Shot is a cocktail made up of Tequila and Grapefruit soda. This drink has origins in Mexico and was created in the 1940s or 1950s. It is said that Juan Palomo, a bartender from Guadalajara, invented the Paloma when he mixed grapefruit soda with tequila. The name of this drink comes from the bird called the "Paloma" in Spanish, which is similar to dove.
