Tidal Wave was introduced in the early 1990's by a group of bartenders at a "Big Kahuna" themed party. They were looking for a drink that would be just as big and tasty as the setting they were creating. After trying many different variations, they came up with this great tasting concoction that has become one of the most popular tiki drinks around.
